Would you ever elope?

I'm single 🙄 not even close to getting married, but I've been thinking about the topic lately. If anyone has eloped or gotten married, do you ever wish you'd gone with the other option?

weddings are a bunch of stress and people get offended,  it's crazy expensive,  blah blah blah. if you elope it's just about the two of you

To me it depends on who your with. if you want something very intimate then go somewhere that your both comfortable and feel peace. 
I preferred to get married in front of friends and family because that's a day you should be surrounded by your loved ones and celebrating.
My Sister eloped and she's happy that's all that matters.

I wouldn't have minded eloping, but I have family and clothes as friends I also wanted to share that day with.  So we just went simple.

I honestly plan on it. If I end up marrying my current boyfriend, we've both agreed that we'd much rather have a courthouse wedding. I'd probably call my parents like five minutes before so they aren't hurt by it but they know I don't want a wedding.
