Second delivery unplanned, not medicated delivery.

This was my second birth. First one I did it with an epidural well this one there wasn’t enough time! Started contracting at 6am. Went to L&D; at 8am I was 4cm. they made me walk around the unit at 8:30 to see that I was progressing I could only walk until 9am so I went back to triage and I was 6cm. They said ok let’s admit you and I signed the consent for the epidural. Well the pain was getting worse and they said the anesthesiologist was in a csection and i was going to have to wait. Well few minutes later I started screaming and cussing (still in triage) they checked me and they were like you are 9cm so they ran my bed into a delivery room and the ob came running in and checked and said she is 10cm not 9! Bad news there is no time for an epidural but good news your are about to have your baby. They broke my water since it was still intact while they were rushing to set up for me to deliver. I was screaming like a crazy person. I pushed twice and bam he slid out at 9:32am! It was so fast! And immediately after he was out the pain went away instantly. I didn’t plan to do I without pain meds but the recovery was so much faster unmediated than with the epidural. The reason being that with my first with the epidural I couldn’t feel anything not even me pushing so I pushed for like 2 hours and the recovery was painful because of that lol

Then as a newborn and now at 3months
