When do i do one year pictures?!

When does everyone plan on doing babies one year pictures? My son's birthday is 5 weeks away and I'm just not sure when to do them? I know I want them done before his actual birthday so I have the pictures to hand out at his party.

Our daughters birthday is the 17th and we're planning on October 8th, weather permitting as we want to do them outside. We want to have them done by her party on the 21st. We also want to make sure the weather is still nice enough and we're in New York State so you never know what the weather will do. If the weather doesn't cooperate it will be the following weekend. We're having them taken at the waterfall/park where my husband and I got engaged 💕

we are doing it next Saturday,  at jc penny. i found buy buy baby and babies r us,  to be way over priced AND bad quality.  jc penny has better equipment, better staff and better prices. our daughter's first birthday is oct 15th

I'm going to do a photo shoot for my son and his smash cake in the morning of his birthday then have his birthday party and send the pictures with a thank you card for those who attended.
