Bleeding 2 weeks after insertion?

Hi guys, I’m still bleeding, and quite a bit. I didn’t have a period for ages before I got my iud as I have PCOS but I was wondering if I should be worried 😬😬 Also still have some cramping

Sometimes your body builds up a crazy lining and when you get your IUD in you’re going to bleed a lot. If it goes for too much longer I would say there’s no harm in calling the doctor and just asking to be sure!

I bled for two months when I got my iud put in. If it’s super heavy I’d ask your doctor. If it’s light I don’t think you need to be worried.

I bled for almost 3 weeks

I bled for 6 weeks my first iud insertion. That's over 40 days. Even climbing up into vehicles hurt like hell. My 2nd, not really any bleeding. Were you actually on your period during insertion? That made all the difference for me. No drugs either time, but I about fainted the 2nd time because I didn't eat. Discuss at your 1 month check up.
