please tell me this has happened to you

I feel like I failed today. My 6 month old has not slept all day!! He skipped all 3 naps. I have been trying for 5 hours to get him to sleep. He wants to play. Praying it's a mental leap and this doesn't continue. I get so frustrated when he doesn't sleep and it causes me and my husband to fight.
