Ugh plzzzz someone help

Ok so I really like this guy and I thought he liked me too... mostly because he told e he liked me, and one day he told me he was gong to ask me out . So that made me really happy but than the day after he told me that he didn't talk to me at all like before we used to eat lunch together and walk to our classes together, but now it's been like more than a month since we have eaten together or walked to our classes together and when I asked him y.. he sad that he had a lot going on and that he had decided no to like anyone... but but like idk what to do I even made up a fake boyfriend and than I broke up with that fake boyfriend, so that I could talk to him but he didn't do anything... but honestly I a just really sad because I tried really hard to get him to notice me and he did nothing.... any advice... literally anything would be appreciated
