clicking sound?

I've read that this is a bad latch. anyone else's baby do this when latched on? he also sucks nipple into mouth to latch. how do I stop this?

You unlatch and try again by putting your nipple to his nose so he opens wide. Keep unlatching and trying again until he gets it and praise him when he gets it right. You can look up your local Le Leche League to find a meeting that is free of charge but is hosted by the most knowledgeable LC’s. You can also look for an IBCLC to get some help. Oh yeah, that's a bad latch but don't worry - it happens to all of us. I had my husband/ Mom/ sister/ whoever was around help with my sons latch by pulling his chin open when he went in for the boob. Helping him get his mouth wider really made a huge difference for a successful latch. He had a slight tongue tie when he was born but we avoided getting it cut with some patience and practice he figured it out!
