Over the weekend my friends daughter spent the night (Friday night)

My daughter's friend wanted my daughter to spend the night Saturday night, and at their place, and I said no

I got a call from the mother asking me why. I simply said there are things that need to be done. The mother was continuing to ask me why

It's starting to get to me. Everyday I say no, or I do not have the money I get question why.

The girls are good friend's, and I hate to interfere in their friendship, so how should I handle this situation?

I do let her, but I say no when I say no appartleny I need a reason, and they for to be together 24/7. and all weekend every weekend. and I don't have money to keep giving out for movies, and other things. Plus we need to face family time and do things with out a friend being around.
