So I've been having a really weird period pattern. About 6 months ago, I hadn't had my period in 2 months. I was sexually active at the time and I still am. But one day while in class I started blessing profusely. It would not stop and I had to go to the hospital. When I went the did X-rays on my stomach and my pelvis and the only thing the could find was that I had a uti. They gave me medication and told me there wasn't anything to worry about. So I believed them and tried to put the fact that I was bleeding so much on the back burner. As the months passed, I started to realize even more irregular patterns in my period. I would spot but it looked like it was brown. And then I would bleed a whole bunch. This has been going on for a while and I honestly don't have the money or the insurance to go to the gyno. The only other factor that may contribute to this is I am overweight. I weigh 230 and I've never weighed this much before in my life. I just need some suggestions on where to start. Please let me know. I'm freaking out.
