October 22, 2017 at 6:30 PM I had my bloody show and lost my bloody mucus plug. I was having irregular contractions and slight bleeding. I knew I was in early labor... next day I felt like she was stalling, but that night I had bad back labor and had trouble sleeping. Then the next day, October 24, 2017, My water broke at 11:10AM just as I made plans to go to the movies with my two older children, and I squatted down to their level to speak to them, and💢POP!💢 I felt my water break I stopped my sentence and said, "crap, never mind, my water just broke!" And I ran to the bathroom to check. Sure enough it was my water!! I go upstairs, tell my husband, & he's so excited that he's practically running out the door and pushing me to hurry!! They checked my water to make sure it was amniotic fluid, which it was. And then admitted me as started me on pitocin. Soon after I got my epidural. I progressed very slowly. Got to the hospital about noon and at about 11:00 PM I WAS FINALLY fully dilated. I pushed two good 10 second pushes, &a she was here!!! She was so beautiful and perfect, very petite. 5 pounds, 2 ounces & 17.5 inches long. She had trouble breathing as they figured I was 36 weeks and 4 days, and her sugar has been low. She's had trouble feeding and doesn't suckle. I'm hoping she doesn't get sent to NICU. But other than that, she is perfect, healthy, and doing good!! I love my strawberry blonde princess!! She's gorgeous!!
