Advice on preventing stretch marks?

Currently 24 weeks, with no stretch marks yet. I am just now starting to get bigger and want to try to prevent some stretch marks, if possible! Any mommas know any special products that worked for them?? Thanks 💕

No products. Healthy eating, lots of water to keep your skin hydrated and exercise to keep the wait gain slow and minimal. You CAN prevent them. Your skin is perfectly capable of stretching to accommodate a pregnancy. Genetics don’t mean you’re absolutely going to get them. They’re “genetic” in my family and I don’t have a single one because I worked my butt off to prevent them lol

They're genetic but they can indeed be prevented. Eat well, stay hydrated, exercise daily and use an aid like Bio Oil religiously. Strivectin SD works very well, but I'm not sure that's safe in pregnancy. I'm nearly 30 weeks with twins and don't even show the slightest sign of getting them.

Gain weight at the expected pace. It’s not fool proof, if your genetics make you more likely you may still get them but gaining weight steadily will make it less likely.

Exfoliate your belly everyday and rub Bio Oil on it everyday, whenever it feels itchy just put more  oil on it. I did that and I didn't get one stretch mark or "loose skin" butttt everybodys skin  is different.

I use bio oil and matter company's "belly Jelly" - both are a by oily (which I don't love) but both were recommended highly so I'm just going with it! 23+4 using everynight

If you're gonna get them, you'll get them no matter what, but just keeping your skin moisturized can make them less noticeable/not as bad.

You can't prevent them... I started to get them at around 32 weeks pregnant... I only have a few now. I see it as earning my stripes😆

The best thing you can do is eat healthy!! I was very unhealthy my last pregnancy, never drank water. I got a ton of stretch marks. This pregnancy I eat healthy and I'm not underweight anymore, I'm currently 33 weeks and haven't gotten a single new stretch mark

Aloe! I rub a fresh aloe leaf all over my belly every night before bed. So far so good and I'm 28 weeks... Fingers crosses.
