I believe in discipline when a kids acting up, but I feel like this is a little too far, basically turning your child’s room into a prison? If anything they should be finding out why he’s acting up, and try to fix that. All the comments on the post are people who are saying she’s a horrible mother, and others saying they think it’s a great idea and they even want to try it out on their kids. Where would you stand in this situation?

The child in question is only 5 years old. I should also add this is in Michigan, where I live, and we’ve been having temperatures that are in the upper 90’s, so this child is locked in his room in extremely hot weather.
