Help with LH surge strips

It is my first time using those strips. I took the upper one after two hours hold and got negative I didnt wait the five minutes and went feeding my kid. Then I returned one hour later and took another test to confirm then I found the later one got darker. Should I discard the test after a time limit as the hcg tests?
