Hi everybody! This is my first post on here, I'm just looking for advice. This is my first pregnancy and I'm 20 years old (I'm 12 weeks) I'm also a type 1 diabetic so my pregnancy is high risk.

Something that erks me a lot is my doctors not really taking me seriously. I have a new endocrinologist (diabetes doctor), since my old one wasn't as experienced with pregnancy. He was very judgemental to the point of asking me questions like "you stopped taking your birth control? You knew you were going to get pregnant right? And you weren't concerned?" Like... obviously?? Anyways he referred me to an OBGYN, but my appointment is for the 24th of November. By that time I'll be 21 weeks! Isn't that a little late? Especially for a first high risk pregnancy? Didn't mean to rant as much but, when was your first OB appointment?
