I presume that's a very controversial topic and I want to use it to get you guys opinions (I don't have people to talk about this, only the professor I'll talk about later, but by the time I meet her I have to have a decision). A tutor from my university invited me and a few colleagues to take part in her project. Basically, she is researching ways to ease cancer pain with certain substances, which could be very benefitial for lots of people. Thing is, it involves testing in animals, mostly mices, with tumors (basically, causing them pain). I feel it would be a great opportunity but that last part torn me. I have read the articles towards her hypotheses and it seems really interesting. What your guys opinions on animal testing?
