Hey everyone. I was diagnosed with endometriosis when I was a young teen like 14. I have had 3 surgeries due to the endo. The last one was 2 years ago. The doctor said I have stage 4 endo and if I want kids I have 5 years to try. I was 20 then. I became super depressed. I was not ready for a baby. I still am not. I don't have a house. My boyfriend and I rent a tiny apartment. After a lot of thinking and worring I got an iud called Miraina. It has helped me a lot until just recently. I started have endo pain again. I went to my Obgyn and she gave me two options which weren't really options. I could have yet another surgery or Go on Depo Lupron (Idk how to spell it but it causes menopause) for 6 months. I do not have insurance because I can't work. I am a full time student with a crap ton of medical issues. So I am stuck with dealing with the pain. I don't know what to do. I need insurance but don't know how to get some. I have tried for SSI but they say I am too young and because I am not ready for kids I can't get medicaid. If anyone has any ideas that could help me please let me know. Whether its about how to get insurance or how to help with the endo pain. I would greatly appreciate it.
