To test, or not to test!?!

So 2 or 3 days ago I went to the ER for cramping, assumably ovary cramping. They did an ultrasound and took urine. During the ultrasound the tech asked me questions like if theres a chance I could be pregnant or if my period was due soon. I peeked at the ultrasound and didnt see anything or interest. I did ask if she saw a baby lol. She said she didn't see a fetus but I may be too early to see anything. Later during the ultrasound when she was looking at my ovaryies (pushing my cervix like the hulk with the probe) she asked if my period was due soon. The doctor said my urine was negative (the sample was taken at night and pale yellow). Should I test? Af is due in a week.
