Is getting two stress test a week starting at 32 weeks normal? I have gestational diabetes as well not sure if this is why...

Yes I have been having 2 nst's a week since week 30..if you have any high risk factors they want to monitor you closely

I think it's normal for any high risk pregnancy. I started mine at 32 weeks too, with twins.

I too have gestational diabetes. Because I am on insulin and metformin I will be starting ultrasound growth scans and non stress tests twice a week next Monday (that's when I'll be 32 weeks). My doctor said that it was routine when one is being treated for gestational diabetes.
