4 month old has a cold

I'm a FTM & my 4 month old has a cold. The pediatrician noticed he was a bit congested and wheezing when breathing. He has had a fever on & off for a little less than 48 hours. I've given him infants Tylenol (not a full dose) & also tried infants Motrin which seemed to work a little better for him. He just refuses to eat though even when it's been hours since he ate & I know he's hungry, he also just screams if I'm not holding him (sometimes even when I am holding him) I would just like to know what some of you have tried or think might help?
