air and daddy bonding questions

I have two questions for you all lol with all the wild fires and the air being bad I want to get a air purifier or a salt lamp. Which one would you get? My son has asthma and with the baby being here any day I want to make sure they are both ok and breathing some what good air while at home at least. Also if your husband took daddy bonding or family leave act did his work take care of it or did he have to fill out the form online or send it in the mail? Thank you all :)
