TMI topic: are his swimmers safe for possible baby

Hey ladies this question might seem silly but I haven't gotten a straight answer from Google yet LOL. I have been using Clearblue advanced ovulation test and have been testing high for the last week so me and my man have been actively doing the baby dance every day for the last week and will continue to do that until the test says I am no longer high. Jw if we do conceive or have already are his swimmers affecting the pregnancy in anyway? I read that the cervix closes off and provides a plug like a barrier so sperm cannot reach through, but I'm still wondering when does the new plug set in after baby has been conceived? We've been doing the BD every 12-24hrs... I'm determined lol. I'm prone to miscarriage and Just don't want to do any bad. Thanks 😊
