is there a way to filter the feeds that show up?

i understand there are different apps but we all share one community, i just wish i could filter it to only the community that is relevant to my needs. not trying to be a jerk but there are a few topics i could do without.

Sure is. Go to social and scroll all the way left. Star the ones you want and the rest will be further down the list. The ones starred will show up first when you scroll right you can put them in the order you like too.

No, you can only leave groups and it might limit what you see in your feed

I agree.  I've 'left' most topics that aren't relevant to me but they still show up.
