I've been considering leaving my husband and getting a place for just me and my daughter. I don't love my husband anymore. I'm just with him, because I made a commitment to him and I wanted to try to make our family work. I'm just starting to think that maybe we are better friends and co parents then husband and wife.

i think in your situation you should try to work on your relationship and find the love again. if hes a good person and you've just fallen out of love thats no reason to leave.

Well a single mother is lacking a life partner. But in a bad marriage, it's kind of the same, plus the added stress of having to tip toe around your own home and not feel happy or in love with them. But of course there are other stressors that go with being a single mother.

I’ve never been in either of these situations, but I would say being in a bad marriage is worse.
