Hiccups?

Does anyone else's baby get the hiccups a lot? I'm 37 weeks and she get them daily....

Mine gets them every time I eat something. My doc says it’s normal because their diaphragm and nervous system at ejust learning how to work to prepare for breathing outside of the womb. They are so sporadic and often because the nerves that control the baby’s diaphragm are not matured and there isn’t a rhythm yet. The hiccups are so strong you can see my baby bump jump with every hiccup! It’s annoying but also cute.

Yup, usually a couple times a day. I think they make her mad because she kicks and moves a ton when she has them

Im 36 weeks and 4 days. My little one gets the hiccups every day. Sometimes she even gets them twice a day.

Omg yes! I feel bad my little lady has them at least 3-4 times a day! Her dad has the hiccups a lot too!

Yes. & you’ll notice that she will have them all the time once she’s born too. For a while, my son would have them every single time he was awake.
