My husband and I have been TTC for about 9 months. I recently discovered that I have a MTHFR gene mutation (compound heterozygous). I've been doing a lot of reading and research and it looks like this might be contributing to infertility. I've been supplementing with methylfolate instead of folic acid, started a new prenatal by 'Thorne' and have been taking a low dose aspirin pill daily. I did also try to talk to my doctor, but she wouldn't run any tests until we have been trying for 1 year. Does anyone have any experience TTC or pregnancy with a MTHFR mutation? I'm a little nervous since reading a lot about people's struggles with miscarriages etc.
