Hell yes! Wish I could've gone on bc earlier for this exact reason, but the nurse wouldn't let me, cause she thought it equated to, taking bc = having sex and thought the extra hormones wasn't a good idea... screw people like that, my periods were irregular and painful af!

Absolutely. Especially if you're sexually active. I took BC at 14 and it really helped me understand my flow a lot better.
