How to stop biting my nails?!

Yall I've been biting my nails since i was a little kid. I've tried everything from fake nails to bad tasting nail polish. I usually do it out of anxiett and I don't even notice when I do it.

You’ll have to replace the behavior. I bit my nails from childhood until I was about 21. It took me a few years to really break the habit, and even still if I’m super stressed out I will catch myself wanting to bite all off them again and I’m almost 28!
I found it easier to do my nails instead of biting them, especially when I was bored (filing, trimming my cuticles and rubbing a good cuticle cream on them). It’s really hard but you’ll just need to find a new coping mechanism (everyone has one!). It also helped to paint my nails in the beginning, so instead of biting I would pick the polish. Sometimes I would paint my nails daily because I picked it all off so much!

Literally NOTHING helped but I was tired of being embarrassed and I wanted my bf to think I have cute hands 😂😂 so I stopped

well maybe you need to not be stressed out they say that's a leading cause to people's addictions like cutting or not eating bitting nails could be a cause try exercising it helps with your mind and body.
