opk and me

had a positive opk test today at 6 a.m. and when I took another one at 6 p.m. today it had almost no line at all. is that normal? I thought it would get gradually lighter and lighter. we BDed Tuesday at midnight and then again Wednesday afternoon. would the line go away faster if my egg got fertalized?
