Breastfeed or bottle feed on plane?

I’m flying with my LO who will be just shy of three months in a few weeks. I’m not sure if I should try breastfeeding him on the plane or bottle feed. I’ve never breastfed in public before and he takes a bottle just fine. Not sure which will be easier. Anyone have experience with flying with an infant? Any tips?

I personally always feel that breastfeeding is easier but I also don’t mind nursing in public.

I never really breastfed in public either and I was flying with my son when he was 4 months old. International flight. I was nervous about it but it was so good and we had no problems. I breastfed him while taking off and landing and in between when he needed. I wore two shirts and a nursing scarf which hid the boobs from the other passengers. No one even cared. That I know of anyway. Lol 😆

Breastfeed! No need to wash bottles and you can let her comfort feed to help with take off and landing

I flew with my so when he was 3 months. He breastfed and slept the whole flight both ways. I recommend breastfeeding. I just got set up with my cover and let him go to town.

I would breastfeed, I feel like it keeps them calmer and it's also less of a hassle because you don't have to lug bottles, etc. Bring a cover and just do it, you have every right to feed your baby. I was self conscious at first, now I just whip it out and cover what I can. You'd be surprised how many people don't notice and don't care. 😀 Best of luck on your trip.

Breastfeeding while traveling like that is so much easier and quicker. No bottles to warm or prepare or store or clean. No real set up. Just dress in an easy access top.

If you breastfeed you won't have to worry about engorgement and let down = uncomfortable and messy. On the other hand, sometimes it is easier to have a bottle ready to go.
