Not really sure why I'm posting this lol I guess just for outside views besides a couple coworkers... Long story short, I was sick last week and every time I coughed, I leaked, a ton. Even if I had just gone to the bathroom, did my usually wait after peeing to make sure I'm empty, pulled up my undies and ended up coughing right then. Literally 15 seconds after peeing, I'd have a gush of fluid when coughing. I had my prenatal today and mentioned it since A)I'm concerned and B)none of my "multiple kiddo" moms that I talked to had experienced anything like this. Doc did a cervix check, inside is still closed. Then she checked to see if my water has broke with a culture sample and she said it's just urine. I felt relieved and let it go. This evening at work, a couple of my coworkers asked about my appointment so I told them, including the waters leaking. Both of them are urging me to ask for an ultrasound, just to double check my waters, especially considering one of them almost lost her son, but didn't because consistent ultrasounds found the problem. Since everything else turned out fine today, I'm considering waiting until my appointment in 2 weeks, since a portable ultrasound machine can be wheeled into the room at any moment. But I'm kinda hesitating and wondering if I shouldn't go ahead and contact my doctor tomorrow. Especially since when my mom delivered me, there was so little fluid left that doctors were amazed I survived. I trust my doctor completely but there's that little nagging part of me that wants the ultrasound....
