Johnsons baby lotion safe during pregnancy?

Anyone know if Johnson and Johnson baby lotion are safe for use by pregnant women? I am spending a fortune on pregnancy specific moisturizers, but my cousin said she used J&J; her whole pregnancy and her baby seems fine

get yourself a jar of coconut oil organic raw..the best 8 dollars you would spend and it lasts forever...i used a jar and half and i used two so far for my babies skin care....my babies and i smell so so good and i know it wont give us skin reactions or that is toxic....

It’s fine. If it’s safe to put on your newborn baby it’s safe to put on yourself even if you’re pregnant.

I use lotion from bath and body works I didn't know it was a thing to have only use specific lotion for pregnancy 🤷🏻‍♀️ I also have a bar from lush that's for pregnancy that is pretty much lotion.

This is a matter of personal choice. Anything you put on your skin is absorbed into the bloodstream so yes some moms want to be extra careful. I gave up lotions years ago in favor of natural oils and butters but when I give birth I'm sure I'll look into some tightening creams and use them for a short period of time. I won't use regular lotions on my newborn either. Just look at the ingredients, if I can't pronounce certain chemicals, I run from it 😂

Thanks for all the advice! I had no idea about the reputation Johnsons has. I'm using pure almond oil right now mixed with a fancy schmancy pregnancy cream. I'll try the coconut oil from here on out, too.

Aquaphor works great too. Maybe a little thick but if you need to lock in moisture or stop itching this is the best go to! Better than coconut oil in my opinion!

i used baby oil gel on my tummy and breasts during pregnancy. my skin was so dry and a little goes a long way.
