Am I in the wrong here??

I have been with this guy for about a year now and he is usually great. Lately he seems to be getting more controlling though. Last night I went out with friends and he got mad because I took an hour to reply to one of his texts. He works all night so he usually can't text me so thats why I didnt pay attention to my phone. Here are some of the texts. He still is angry with me. Was I wrong or is he being ridiculous?

I hate to say it darling but it will only get worse.. take this advice from a woman who has just had to fight her way out of an abusive and controlling relationship, the first part was perfect, or what I thought was perfect until similar things like this started.. at first didn't think much of it, calmed his insecurities and before I know it I'm clinging on to my own life trying to escape after months of emotional torture, don't do it. Get out now. It's not healthy and it gets worse and the more you accept of this behaviour the more twisted it becomes, the more you try to show him your worth it the more you loose yourself and this illusion of control gets way out of control .. I know you think he's different, so did I .. I have been convincing myself what I've been going through fo thelast year n a half was normal , it's not normal and that's where it starts ... you've given him no reason to doubt you so why would he unless he's guilty of something himself or is trying to exercise his control, see if you take it , see if he can push you or whatever! Hope for the best for you lovely, I'm only speaking from my experience and yours could be different however I just remember after reading the text thread how similar it sounded to when my now ex started to change into a man I never knew! He took everything from me and I didn't even see it coming .. I'm wiser and ivelearned a lot bt it was fucking PAINFUL and I wouldn't wish it on ANYONE💖
