I just have to express my happiness. I listened to rumors and was told I could take 4 months maternity leave but after my pto (3 weeks ) was gone the rest would be unpaid. So I was preparing myself to be off for 2 weeks with the baby and then go back to work so I could have some pto for emergencies. Well I now found out that I actually get 16 weeks full paid maternity leave and I am overjoyed that I will get that extra 3 and a half months to bond with my son and recover.
