Really just curious....

I had a friend of Mine tell me her and

Her husband don't pass gas around each other or communicate at all when using

The restroom...like she said "I'd be mortified if he heard me fart or tried to come in the bathroom While I was pooping" (they've been married over a year)

I almost fell out of my chair because it sounded so foreign to me! Are my husband and I weirdly close or is this common? I mean we pass gas around each other and don't blink an eye... I'll also walk in the bathroom and talk to him while he's using it.., and vice Versa..😳
