Leg cramps??

Anyone else getting awful leg cramps? Tonight I woke up from a dead sleep and jumped out of bed because my calf muscle hurt so bad lol. It happened during my last pregnancy as well!!

Yes it is pretty normal during pregnancy. The cause is unknown though. Try to stretch ur leg with ur toes pointing up rather than down...

Google some calf stretches and do them a couple times a day. It has really helped me! Also lots of water and bananas

They say Magnesium helps. Buckwheat groats are very high in it and I've noticed a difference in leg cramps when I eat it regularly. Hope this helps!

Ugh YES! They're terrible! I've started taking calcium and magnesium and that seems to have helped. Also make sure you drink plenty of water and stretch them out during the day, especially before bed!

Yes and the pain is excruciating! Like you I just woke up from the deepest sleep and was in so much pain my boyfriend thought I was in labour. He had to get up and stretch my leg out for me. It helps to give your legs a little stretch before bed. I get up at least twice for a wee now, so whenever I go to the toilet in the night I give my legs a little stretch then too. It hasn’t happened since thankfully.
