To all those people considering getting a pet to add to their family please adopt.There are so many loving animals in shelters waiting to be adopted. I did work experience for a week at an animal shelter and it broke my heart how many people abandoned their pets, pets are a lifelong commitment if you can't afford to pay vet bills then put the animals first by turning them into a shelter rather than dumping them on the streets. Adopt a pet who NEEDS a home.

This cat lost its eye due to the negligence of her former owner.

This cat has spent 3 years at the shelter since no one will adopt him purely due to the fact he is an elderly cat aged 19, at this rate he is most likely going to live the rest of his days without a home.
