So I met this guy on tinder in January and we immediately connected. He's originally from Jamaica and my family is from there as well, so we had loads to talk about. Eventually we started going out and he met my family and I met the people he was living with. Basically we got close very fast. So it was not easy for me, when he left for boot camp because I wasn't sure if I would ever see him again. He told me that he would write to me but I never got a letter. The two months go by and I finally get a message from him and of course I was extremely happy. He told me that he lost my address when he got there, but once we started talking everything was normal. That is until he started school, he became so occupied with studying that we would barley talk. I tried to understand the situation he was in but couldn't help but feel ignored by him and when I told him that, we ended up talking. He explained to me that he's extremely busy and he isn't purposely ignoring, he just doesn't have the time to talk to anyone really including his family. So, I asked him if this was it and he said that he really doesn't want to say that exactly because who knows what will happen, maybe I'll end up with him or not. So after that, I would send a message to him here and there and say that "I hope he was doing good". That went on for a while and then last Friday he ended up telling me that he was coming back for a short time and I told him that if he wants to hang out with me he can. And we did. At first he seemed off like he didn't want me there but after talking for abbot he seemed himself again but he changed. He was more of an asshole than he was before but that didn't change the way I felt about him he ended up telling me how there were something he wanted to do with me but he restrained himself from doing that stuff. I laughed and was like so you still like me and he said well the feeling is always going to be there. After that I asked him if I should date other people and he said yes then he playfully spun me around, gave me a hug and kissed me on the forehead and walked me to my car. Right before I left I looked at him and said "So maybe five years from now" and he nodded his head and said "maybe five years from now". I don't know if that was the end, I don't think it was. I feel like there is more to that story but right now is not the appropriate time and I just have to wait. But I will say this I miss him so much and he's a very special person to me. I'm gonna live my life and if he comes back to me I won't let him go. Oh he also said that he hopes life will bring me back to him.
