Would you still attend an event that your friend is holding if they do not want your spouse to attend because of their dislike for them? My spouse is telling me that if his friends didn't like me he would attend events alone because those are his friends. I almost wanted to say well fuck you. I didn't of course but definitely think he's wrong for that. Even if my family didn't like my spouse I would tell them that they have to deal with it or either I'd just not come around as much.
