Changing table inspiration?

I've blown almost my entire nursery budget and don't have the $400 for the changing table that goes with my crib. I need a cheap alternative - some ways to refurb a used one or anything like that. I'm doing a woodland themed nursery. Ideas?

We're using a plastic box lid padded with a towel and made soft with a pillowcase. The clean cloth diapers are for extra absorption, just in case. It's nice because we can move it around the house to wherever we need to change baby. (we also have a box with diapers, wipes, etc)

Changing pad on top of a dresser - you get the storage and a changing table! You can buy a cheap dresser from a yard sale or something and fix it up as a fun project too. That's what I did!

Just use a hanging pad on top of a dresser! I had a changing table with my first and it was a total waste of money and space! Don't worry over it! The changing pad on dresser worked much better for us round 2.

Order a cheap desk online they have $40 ones and put velcro on a changing pad and slap it on there! Looks the same as a changing table

We just put a changing pad (approx $20) on top of the dresser. They come with straps secure them and they are easily removed when no longer needed.
