Should I change her?
Hi all,
I have been seeing my OBGYN since 7 months. From the second visit she was borderline hostile with me. She told ( while just barging in the room)with my progesterone levels, I will never be able to carry a baby. But since my periods are a bit irregular the level was taken on the wrong day. I pointed this out later and got another test after using opk to predict ovulation. When I got the result, it was in the normal range. I double confirmed with two of my OBGYN resident friends. But she told it is still low and got me on clomid.I was reluctant to take as all my hormones were normal and we were trying to conceive only for 4 months. But I am 31, so she told not to wait and even accused me that I am not motivated enough. I started clomid and got severe vaginal itching and very painful periods. Waited 2 months to get an appointment and she didn't even listen to my concerns. I asked whether she can order a scan for me, just to rule out PCOS even though I have no symptoms and my hormones are normal. She then prescribed me metformin without any tests. Her reason was that there is no harm in taking it even if I don't have PCOS. What yo do? Please help. Am I overthinking? Sorry for the long post. Thank you.
