Gene mutation

Christina

I had some bloodwork ran on me due to multiple miscarriages. Found out I have a gene mutation MTFHR. Was trying to see if anyone else out there also has this gene mutation and what you’re doing or have done for fertility. Thanks!

I am heterozygous MTHFR c677t. I take baby aspirin and food source folate instead of folic acid, since those with the mutation can’t process folic acid correctly. Folic acid is the synthetic form of folate. I use the Vitamin Code Raw Prenatal, since it has the right form of folate. I also take baby aspirin every dat. I’m pregnant now.

I personally would add a baby aspirin and take it all month when TTC.

I take methyl folate and I start clomid soon. Just was seeing if I should possibly try something else or add to what I’m already taking...
