My plan is to go thrifting for my dress. I saw my dream dress in a thrift store a few weeks ago for 20$... but it was a size 4 and i'd have to cut myself in half to ever fit in that 😂

When I started dress shopping, my husband told me to spend whatever it took for me to feel beautiful and happy in our wedding day. 
I went dress "window shopping" (didn't even plan on trying in a dress) with my mom and ended up trying on several dresses - a few of which were REALLY expensive. I fell in love with one and had to have it. Imagine my shock when I saw the price tag - it was $899!! The price was so reasonable I ended up getting a beaded belt that was almost half the price of the dress. :)
You really don't have to spend a fortune on your dress. Just shop around and take your time. I'd also suggest NOT shopping with a large group....

My advice is to look around. The dress I wanted was in the 3000$ range and I ended up getting it for 1500$

I think my dress was originally a 1600 dress but it was a floor model and 50% off so I got it for like $800. Which is a lot for a dress but it was perfect 😍 I paid for half and my mom paid for the other half
