What bug bite is this

I noticed it earlier, not even sure if it's a bug bite but it's kinda irritated and the redness has been there for hours. I'm not sure if it's a coincidence but the same hand arm and upper shoulder of the bite has been very sore and achy like.

I’m sorry that I can’t say exactly what the bite might have come from, but I just wanted to say this – you may be having an allergic reaction it. If your arm doesn’t stop aching and the redness doesn’t go down soon, I’d really consider seeing a doctor. My grandpa went through this recently and it wasn’t fun.

Looks like a mosquito bite. I'm very sensitive to mosquitoes and I always have swollen marks like this because of them. And if I scratch it, it gets worse.. it doesn't look like a spider bite just because there aren't two penetration marks.. but honestly not sure 100, we can only guess.

Not sure what it could be but the aching makes me nervous. I agree with other commenter, monitor it and if it gets worse or you develop a fever go to urgent care right away. Probably an easy fix but not something you want to ignore!
