they have a weird metallic/unnatural taste especially due to the artificial flavoring, but i dont think theyre too bad. when i was a kid i used to hate drinking them but they really arent that bad. especially if you try the different flavors, you can probably find a flavor that works for you. i think they are best cold. if the taste doesnt work for you, you can always just chug it, though that sometimes makes my stomach hurt. ive also tried boost/ boost protein and i liked the chocolate ones. my mom prefers strawberry

The chocolate has a chalk like texture, also you can tell it’s kind of like a medicine. It gives off the same after taste as a flinestone vitamin. I’m not sure what powdered milk taste like but I imagine it taste similar to ensures. idk about you guys but they make me nauseous.
