business with or without social media??

hello all. im here to ask, do you have a business and if so do you use social media to promote it? my husband and i live on a farm. we butcher chickens, have lots of eggs, and my new project is to make homemade all natural goat milk soap. i didnt have facebook for a couple years, and now i am back on....and honestly, i think its a complete waste of time. but i can see how it can promote on the business side. im 26 and im thinking the good ol fashion word of mouth might be more my thing. fill me in on your small business and how you promote it🐣🐐🐖 thankyou
