I think my pediatrician is full of 💩
So we went to the 4 week check up today. My pediatrician told me I should be feeding every 3-4 hours at this point. I'm lucky if I get two hours...I told him my kiddo does not want to wait. She shows all the hunger cues, and if I continue to put her off, she screams and is miserable. On the other hand, the lactation consultant at my ob/gyn said I am feeding her on demand, which is fine, but that was 2 weeks ago. I prefer to listen to the woman who talks about and teaches lactation for a living...although I'm not the type of person to discount a Dr's advice, and I can't get into the lactation consultant for a few days. Am I crazy to still be feeding on demand during the day? She's gaining weight and is happy and healthy, so I feel like I'm doing something right. Thoughts???
