When do you plan to tell everyone you know that you are pregnant?

I am 6 weeks pregnant and am curious when everyone is planning to tell friends and family. I am thinking of telling family at about 10 weeks and telling friends at 11 weeks on our 1 year anniversary. Is that too early?

I'm waiting for social media announcement until 12 weeks when risk of miscarriage goes way down. I have already told most of my close family and friends because I know they would all be supportive if I miscarried. I'm already starting to pop out (this is my second child, third pregnancy) at 8.5 weeks so I'm not sure how easy it will be to keep it hidden at work. I just know it was terrible with my first I miscarried at 6ish weeks and didn't know until 9 weeks and I announced on social media at about 4 weeks. Then it was terrible fielding questions from acquaintances asking for belly pics months later and being dragged back to the grief and having to share that news with someone I'm not close with. Never want to go through that again!

You can tell anyone whenever you want. There's no right or wrong answer. The only reason most people wait until 12 weeks is the risk of miscarriage is higher until that point. But my thinking is that if you would tell them you had a miscarriage then why not tell them as early as you want?

waiting untill housewarming in 1 week to have everyone in one room. im not really focused on how many weeks i am to tell. but i will b 8 weeks
