How long after laparoscopic surgery can you exercise?

Hi!
After my laparoscopic surgery being cancelled due to hurricane Irma, I am now getting it on Thursday, my birthday😳
I am having my right Fallopian tube removed, as well getting rid of any endo. 
It stinks because I know I ovulate mostly from my right side.. but hopefully my left just starts making bigger moves!
I am super nervous and really hopes it helps me in my TTC journey! Not to mention get rid of the painful sex and horrific periods!
Anyway, how long after the surgery could you exercise? I exercise 2-3 times a week and really enjoy it. 
Anyone else exercise and how long did it take after your surgery to get back at it?

Hi Liza, 
Like you, I exercise very frequently. I was able to walk on the treadmill on day 3 and was given a protocol of lifting no more than twenty pounds for the two weeks after surgery- which I def used my 10 pound dumbbells frequently during that period 😜 and also was able to do a light jog. After the two weeks you can slowly start adding in more weight and getting back to what you previously lifted. I would advise no abdominal workouts for a little bit though and found utilizing the bike and a fast paced walk to be the best form of exercise during recovery. Like you, I'm looking at getting my left Fallopian tube removed if I have another surgery.
