Nursery help!! Gray nursery/brown carpet?

Help! 
We have brown carpet (not light but not dark either). I really want to do light grays for the nursery but I'm not sure how that would look. Anyone done this?

It’s not really brown but it’s tan... all I have are grays and browns and whites in his room.

Yep. My walls look a little purple but it is a grey hue. Furniture is all dark grey. I suggest adding a pop of color because it does tie the room together vs washing everything out.

We have brine wood in ours and I think it looks good on the grey !!

Yes and it looks totally fine. Our carpet is a medium brown
