TTC for 3 years

We've been trying to conceive for the last 3 years. I went to a specialist at one point but we've never had enough money to do even the initial tests. I turned 35 this summer and he turned 43 about a month after. I can't help but feel like something is wrong with me and I'm disheartened. Any suggestions of new things we could try that won't cost an arm and a leg? I'm tired.
